How does it work?

  • Sync Planday to Lightspeed in a few simple steps.

  • Set up Revenue Units in Planday, then link them to Lightspeed Registers/Outlets.

  • See the imported revenue in Planday’s schedule view.

Set up your integration

  • Ensure you have Administrator access in Planday (rights across all departments) and the necessary permissions in Lightspeed to connect via API or integration setup.
  • In Planday: Navigate to Settings → Integrations → Overview → Lightspeed, click “Set up”, connect your Lightspeed account(s) and authorise access.
  • Set up Revenue Units in Planday: go to Reports → Revenue → Manage Revenue, create units for each department/location, tick “Enter daily revenue”.
  • In the integration mapping page: Link each Lightspeed register/outlet to the corresponding Revenue Unit in Planday, set how many past days to import, choose VAT/inclusion settings.
  • Run a test: after setup, check that revenue values appear in Planday for business days (there must be at least one shift scheduled so revenue can import). Monitor for a week to validate mapping and data accuracy.
