How does it work?
Use the ADP Marketplace or relevant module to link Planday.
Map Planday’s salary codes, departments, employee groups with ADP’s payroll items.
Approved shift-hours from Planday flow into ADP, processed as part of your payroll run.
Set up your integration
- Ensure you have Administrator access in Planday and ADP — rights to manage integrations, export/import and employee data.
- In Planday: Go to Settings → Integrations → ADP, connect the application, grant data scope (employees, shifts, hours).
- In ADP: In ADP Marketplace or relevant module, find the Planday integration, input credentials or connect the feed, then map entities (employees, cost-centres, pay codes).
- Configure Planday: Set salary codes, departments, shift types so they align with ADP payroll items.
- Test the flow: Run a small data export from Planday to ADP, check the mapping, ensure the payroll items are reconciled correctly in ADP.
- Go live: Once everything validates, roll-out the integration across all units, monitor your first full pay-run, and check for anomalies or mapping issues.
