How does it work?

  • Sync Planday to Brightec in a few simple steps.

  • Define time-clock or employee groups in Brightech.

  • With the data connected, you’ll have reliable time-logs flowing into scheduling and reporting.

Set up your integration

  • Ensure you have Administrator access in Planday (with full rights over schedule, people, integrations) and in Brightec Time (with API/data-export rights).
  • In Planday: Go to Settings → Integrations → Overview → Brightec Time, click “Connect” and authorise the data transfer.
  • In Brightec Time: Configure the export/feed appropriate to Planday (hours, time logs, breaks), map your employee IDs so they match Planday’s records.
  • In Planday: Under People or Departments, make sure your employees/roles/IDs align with Brightec’s data so the feed can map correctly.
  • Run a pilot: Let a small group of employees log time in Brightec for a few days, then verify that their data appears in Planday correctly (hours, breaks, cost structures).
  • When validated: Roll out to full workforce; monitor for data-accuracy (employee matching, time capture, cost calculation) and refine mappings if needed.
